The role
Our client, a leading insurance group at Lloyd's, is looking a Syndicate Accountant to join their Finance department. The role involves all aspects of syndicate accounting, including producing ledger management information, regulatory returns, and supporting with ad-hoc project work. The successful candidate will collaborate with actuaries and underwriters to ensure efficient and accurate accounting.
Key responsibilities
- Accounting of technical and non-technical transactions
- Operational aspects of ledger production and account reconciliations
- Development of process improvements and system enhancements
Our requirements
- Exposure to the insurance market as an accountant or auditor
- Experience of syndicate accounting
- Qualified accountant (Chartered or ACCA)
