Finance Business Analyst

We are currently working with a global specialty insurer to recruit for a Finance Change Business Analyst to sit within the Finance reporting team.

The role will be focusing on liaising with stakeholders to build relationships, gather and document current Finance and Treasury processes in detail as well as understand and document the impacts that enhancements and system changes will have to the wider Finance teams and processes. The candidate should be able to identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes and support the implementation of such changes by providing detailed documentation & explanations of the requirements. 

The key skills/requirements we are looking for this role are as follows;

  • Experienced business analyst with at least 3-7 years’ experience. Knowledge of accounting and finance best practices and experience participating in, or leading, transformation projects to help companies optimize all elements of their accounting and finance organization.
  • Background in the P&C insurance and or reinsurance industry
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • Engaging confidently with senior level managers/executives and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with an ability to effectively manage cross-functional team discussions.
  • Organized, highly motivated and driven self-starter with ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a high performing team
  • Strong management skills with an ability to achieve results in a matrix management environment
Benefits: 
Up to £70,000 per year + benefits and bonus
