WPR is working with a global Lloyd's Insurer who are looking to recruit for a Controller position. This is a permanent position based in the City of London with 3 days in the office.
Role summary:
The role takes ownership of the General Ledger and is responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all ledger balances. This position will also make sure that an appropriate controls framework is in place across these processes. You'll also help to contribute to strategic initiatives by providing SME knowledge for changes, including design of embedded controls.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant
- Insurance industry experience
- Highly IT literate with advanced Excel skills and experience working with multiple systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience presenting financial information to a range of stakeholders
